Thank you to DNA Partners for the recent trip to Fora Form's stunning showroom and the ‘Designers Saturday’ show in Oslo, Norway!

Founded by Alice Breed, DNA Partners is an agency that proudly represents a select number of brands who share core values surrounding sustainability, craftsmanship and the significance of inspirational people. Fora Form is one of Scandinavia's largest furniture manufacturers and in 2019 they celebrated their 90th anniversary. They focus on equality, trust and openness and their designs explore the meaning behind meeting places and working culture.

With Fora Form’s brand ethos in mind, I did have a few favourite products from the collection. The first is Dwell, a chair that has been developed for everyday work in 2021. A timeless organically shaped chair with design references from the 20s and 30s. A chair that with its enclosed shape provides warmth and care into the meeting room, or the rocking playfulness in a breakout zone. My second is the Senso sofa system due to its ability to carefully achieve balance between openness and privacy. Designed by Anderssen & Voll, the idea is that the flexible and narrow footprint will appeal to people for informal meetings. Senso sofa system also considers the acoustic challenges you encounter in office environments; therefore, the timber surround provides a discrete sound barrier without dividing a space!

’Designer’s Saturday’ was an incredible opportunity to meet new people, be inspired by forward-thinking design concepts and explore the incredible city of Oslo - I can’t wait to return next year!
