YOUR ASPIRATIONS ARE ATTAINABLE.

Established in London in 2017, INNTW was founded with the mission of making the design industry more accessible.

Originally launched as a series of informal, design-focused networking events, it has since evolved into a dynamic digital platform offering a diverse range of opportunities to connect, gain inspiration, and reinforce the belief that aspirations should be within reach for everyone.

INNTW’s offerings now include a podcast, curated events, motivational talks, mentoring programs, and a comprehensive business toolkit - each designed to empower individuals and foster growth within the creative industry.

FOUNDER’S NOTES

To me, ‘If Not Now Then When?’ is a mantra that I live by. My overall objective is to make a lasting and positive impact on the design industry that aids future generations.

“’If Not Now Then When?’ stemmed from conversations with industry friends regarding the networking opportunities available to design professionals. I realised that a recurring theme in these conversations was that the industry should be much more accessible to everyone. As a result, INNTW was born.”

- Rachael Hymas, INNTW Founder

Initially a series of casual design networking evenings with short inspirational talks by well-known and up-and-coming creative industry names, Rachael realised that ‘If Not Now Then When?’ was more than just a business idea, it was a mantra that she should live by.

In March 2019, Rachael developed ‘If Not Now Then When?’ into a digital platform offering creative content and exciting brand collaborations.

“I decided to take risks, chances and challenge myself more. If I’m selling the idea of people believing in their aspirations, I should do the same with mine. By keeping the events very relaxed, I was able to remove the ‘pedestal’ from under the speakers and make design idols like Tom Dixon become accessible mentors and demonstrate through their stories that all of our own aspirations are also attainable.” Rachael Hymas, Founder of INNTW

During the development of the INNTW events Rachael reached out to a number of international creatives and was pleasantly surprised to find they were interested in supporting the concept of sharing their stories to inspire young people. Designers Tom Dixon, Katie Greenyer, Daniel Schofield, Marianne Shillingford and Tom Raffield were amongst the first speakers to take to the mic.

“I thoroughly enjoyed being part of ‘If Not Now Then When?’. It was a great opportunity to connect with interesting people across so many business sectors. I noticed a friendliness and ease that I hadn’t felt at other networking events. People would just introduce themselves without the awkwardness.” Katie Greenyer, Creative Talent and Network Director, Pentland Brands
